Valentine’s Day 2012

I must apologize for the terrible photos. We had just moved into a new house just the week before and hadn’t unpacked our good camera much less the rest of the house. However that never stops us from celebrating. So if you can look past the yuck photography of my iphone- I would love to share our little festivities 🙂

My 1st Project in the new house. Chocolate mustaches. Made these for my daughter to give out as her Valentines. The tag says – I “mustache” you to be my valentine!

She loved giving them out. They were received well. She even took enough to her Primary Class at church. They loved them too. I love creative Valentines 🙂

Here is our table all decorated 🙂 Nothing fancy. I made labels for our mason glasses and the heart plates I purchased 75% off last year at Target. I was excited to get to use them this year.

Our kitchen was late getting finished by the cabinet people, before we moved in. They finished Valentine’s day. Literally the minute they left I broke out my kitchen aid which I missed so much and made my family cupcakes for valentine’s day dinner. YUM!

We invited my mom over for dinner. (Excuse the boxes everywhere)  We had pink pancakes, bacon/sausage and juice/water for dinner 🙂  Simple but fun!!

We don’t even miss a holiday even if we have only been living there 1 1/2 weeks 🙂

Thanks for letting me share!
