May Day Cupcakes (free printables)

April showers bring May flowers.  May Day  is coming up Sunday, May 1st. What a great way to start off the month with cupcakes!! Any excuse for us to make cupcakes in this house is a good excuse!

To make our cupcakes a little more festive we decorated them with a cupcake wrapper and matching topper.

We simply cut out the wrappers and then used scalloped scissors to cut out the top to give it a pretty edge. And taped the 2 ends together to make a pretty wrapper.

The round toppers –I used a 2 1/2 inch circle punch – Uchida Clever Lever Mega Craft Punch, Circle For the tags. Make it easier on myself but you can cut it out by hand as well. Then I just taped them on a bamboo skewer that I broke to a smaller size.

I have included for you the download for both pieces as well. WOOT WOOT!

I LOVE the sweet little flowers on these wrappers…and that green?! It is the perfect green for May Day, the same green of new leaves. Precious!
