Did you know April is National Grilled Cheese month?? If you didn’t… now you do! That is what we had for our dessert tonight. Grilled Cheese. Everyone we told gave us this crazy look and said “What??”
It was quite tasty and the kids loved it. Something very different and that makes it fun! It is a rich and creamy dessert! Half will do ya!
Servings: 4 (2 sandwiches)
Ingredients:
4 slices of your favorite bread
Soft Cream Cheese
Nutella (If you haven’t heard of this wonderful spread at your local grocer- check out www.nutella.com)
1 banana
Powdered Sugar for dusting
You will create 2 sandwiches. In each sandwich spread 1 slice with cream cheese, the other slice with nutella and 1/2 of a banana cut up in and assembed into the sandwich. Create a 2nd with the rest of your banana.
Heat up a grill pan, and spray with cooking spray. Toast/Grill both sides of your sandwich till everything is warm/melted and gooey!
Once you removed your toasted/grilled yumminess, cut in 1/2 and dust with powdered sugar!
It is delicious!!! And such a unique dessert!!
Yes, I DID know that April is National Grilled Cheese month! Good for you for doing something about it already, AND for having so much fun all of the time! Our kids made Elvis’ favorite sandwich a couple of months ago….but we had to use Sunbutter instead of PB (peanut allergy) with bananas. That is grilled too. But we did it in the wrong month. lol
Oh my heck! YUM!!!
I would totally eat this! It looks amazing.
I’d like to invite you to share this recipe with my linky, Sweet Tooth Friday. I hope to see you there.

Anyting with Nutella and I am in!! If you get a sec, pop on over to Foodie Friday and link up! Oh, and I found you on Tatertots and Jello!
This would be good with slices of Monterey Jack cheese, or mozzarella, any bland white cheese, which is good in bread pudding, too.
This looks absolutely decadent! (With cream cheese AND Nutella, how could it not be delicious?)
