LUCKY – St. Patrick’s Day Board

I wanted something more less traditional for St. Patrick’s day in my home for decorations. My husband took 2 boards off a weathered pallet in my back yard and screwed them together to make me a nice board to work with. I also have horse shoes a friend once gave me for a past party. Thought I would use one for this.

 

Using my silhouette machine I cut out my letters for a stencil to paint. Making sure I measured for it to fit my wood then placed it onto the board.

Using acrylic paint I dabbed with a foam brush to paint my letters in

Once I was done with the letters while it was wet I removed my stencil and used the glue E-6000 to glue on the horse shoe. I LOVE LOVE how it turned out!! My new favorite piece!!
