Easter Egg Garland – Poolside Decorations

My family is having Easter party poolside this year.  We have a pretty large immediate family that lives very close by. I am blessed!

I saw an idea a while back on using eggs in a garland and realized this would be perfect as it is waterproof!

I strung ribbon on the child proof gate that goes along side of our pool.

I opened up the egg and allowed the ribbon to run between the 2 halves of the egg.

Once I closed the egg it snapped on snuggly and hung nicely. No sewing no gluing required! My kind of craft.

Every few inches I added on another plastic egg to make a nice garland/decoration on my porch.

I love all the pretty Easter colors against the blue of my pool water. Looks so springy! 🙂

We also have little ones in the family and I am sure they will pick apart my garland- and this is one decoration I wont have a cardiac arrest when it gets destroyed or disassembled.

YAY for warm Easters in Sunny Florida where we can have Easter swimming parties. 🙂
