I can NOT wait till Friday! Everyone gets excited for Friday, but I am excited for other reasons.
We love April Fool’s as you have already seen in my previous posts. I plan to make the kiddlets their lunches with many surprises.
Their lunch will have some switch out similar to Family Fun link here.
However I really enjoyed the Lunch ideas from one of my favorite blogs I follow- My Mix of Six
I plan to:
1- Plastic spider in their sandwich bag
2- swap out the contents in their chips and add a note inside (Family Fun suggests opening the top and then resealing. I plan to open it from the bottom as My Mix of Six does, and then reseal. I think my kiddlets will notice it less)
3- Apple with worm in it
4- Their small mini waters my kids call it, I plan to swap out the water with sprite.
5- Just for fun- I bought wax lips to include in their lunch 🙂
Dinner-
We have done many of the other ideas. This year we are going to do Sushi. I found a website that had some amazing photos of fake sushi. Found on The Buford Family Website.
Their ideas are great!!
We will make a few of our own changes, but we love all the different rolls and ideas. We also planned ahead when we went to Publix, we asked the Sushi department if we could have some containers and green grass and chopsticks. They were MORE than happy to give them to us for FREE! (THANK YOU PUBLIX!!)
We will give each of the kiddlets their own sushi container with different yummies in it for dinner. (We will have another dinner planned) But we will present the sushi 1st for dinner. 🙂 We may order Chinese for dinner that evening as a trade. Then allow them to work on their sushi “dessert”
Of course we thought of a way to make our own wasabi. and a few other rolls- I can’t wait to share them with you this weekend. 🙂

If I presented fake sushi for dinner my husband would be happy (well, other than being “forced” to eat dessert for dinner 🙂 because he doesn’t like it. I, on the other hand LOVE sushi!
