Class Gift – Teacher Appreciation

This was a very easy gift to make. We collected money from parents to purchase a gift card to the teachers favorite restaurant. 🙂

Green bucket came from the 1.00 section of Target
Floral Foam
Kraft Paper Shreds from Dollar Tree
Wood Skewers
Favorite Gift Card
Flowers were cut out on the silhouette.
Green Gift card packet is a pattern from Silhouette called a library card pouch.

Simply found a photo of a daisy and used the TRACE feature in my silhouette machine. I cut out 2 flowers per flower so I could give it a layered look.  Cut out a orange circle for the center.

Cut out green leaves and the library pouch on the silhouette. Attached everything onto a skewer with tape and glue.  The library pouch I put 2 flowers on that skewer.  And placed the gift card in it.

Made a tag to tie on.

Used my silhouette to cut out the name and polk a dots on white vinyl to add to the bottom.

Fitted tightly into the bucket floral foam and covered with the kraft shredded paper.

Simply stuck the flower skewers in and was done 🙂

Very easy to do. I love using my Silhouette machine. So many ideas. I did this one pretty much on the fly having everything already. I love the 1.00 section of Target and when I see buckets i am always buying a few up each time. Never know when or what project I will need them for later 🙂

This is great MORE than Teacher gifts. Friends, Showers, Mother’s Day and Birthdays. I will definitely be making this again for other great occasions.

ENJOY!!

Another cute gift idea. Thank you! Could you please teach us how to make the super cute gift tags you have been making for the gifts?!

Love it! As a 5th grade teacher myself, I know how much a little token of thanks means at the end of a long year. I’m loving all the cute ideas I’m seeing lately. Here’s an idea I put together for a “Summer Relaxation Kit”.

This is so cute and such a great idea! I love my cameo to whip up fun gifts! I do have an off-the-wall question: What font did you use for the “teacher appreciation week” with the heart apple? I love it!
